Have you ever heard of Rainbow Loom? It is pretty popular among the girls lately.
Rainbow loom is something that we call "Do It Yourself" creations. That thing with many holes called "Loom". It is used for placing the rubber bands and you can make many types of bracelets, event charms. Below is the example of the box and the loom. It was pretty popular and sold over millions around the world.

I owned one myself out of my curiosity. And after looking at some tutorials on youtube, I'm getting addicted to make more types of charm and bracelets. I don't wear all of it on my own, sometimes I gave them to my friends and.. They broke easily because it was made by rubber and they just pull it thinking it looked like plastic haha. It is pretty interesting if you like to make things from zero. And you can make charms like fruits or flower for your bag or others. And these are the examples~

There are many creative designer of loom lately, they even made minecraft characters using loom. Just like this tutorial video below. However, you need more rubber bands in one colors to make harder charms. Not only rubber bands, you need a little skill too. Sometimes it was too hard to pull the rubber bands from the loom, the rubber bands may break and your effort will fly away. So to make one, you need patients, and skills. Especially for expert level charms or bracelets.
And bad news, there are rumors about rubber bands. It is rumored to have cancer risks because of chemical toxic contained in the rubber bands. Afraid? Please don't. Just be careful while using it and use the one written "toxic free" or "latex free" hoping for its safety. And of course wash your hands after using it, it might contain bacteria too after touching it too long.

By the way, rainbow loom is not the only type, there is also monster loom. Unlike rainbow loom, it has different shape, And also finger loom. It's a new type so I haven't try it.
