Do you curious of how a mangaka can be famous? Or do you want to see a pure and beautiful love story? And do you want to see people who try their best to reach for their dream? Then this one will complete those. Bakuman.
Bakuman is a manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. They are also the one that made Death Note. So if you met some similarity with Death Note, it is common because they have a same authors.
The story begins with two characters, Akito Takagi and Moritaka Mashiro. They both have dream which is to become a mangaka since junior high school. And after long and hard work, they become a mangaka in Shonen Jack. From there, they meet rivals and also good friends.
The pure love story? Well it came from Mashiro Moritaka and Azuki Miho. They have a promise, when they both become success in their dream and career they will marry. But before that dream come true, they can't meet each other. This is what Azuki said and Mashiro agree with it. They only meet in certain occasions and only texting each other. Will they get married? You'll have to read the ending of the manga! XDD
And as you know, reaching for a star is not that easy. It spend 20 tankoubon (series) of the manga until they reach all of their dreams. And really it was an amazing journey to read. It is a must read for those who love shounen genre. And of course if you love Death Note, you should read another series of this awesome duo.

It feels so short because I really enjoy every second of it.
